Connor Owens has been appointed as CEO of Falcon AM, the asset management company of Blanchardstown Centre

The former head of asset management and recovery at Nama, Connor Owens, has been appointed chief executive of Falcon AM, the asset management company of the Blanchardstown Centre in Dublin.

Blanchardstown Centre is owned by the managed funds of Strategic Value Partners (SVP), a global alternative investment firm established by Victor Khosla in 2001, which manages €19bn in assets under management.

Mr Owens will take up his appointment in December, while the management team has also added Aoife Foley as chief financial officer, and Bernard Nulty as chief operating officer.

Mr Owens has worked in strategic and financial leadership in the real estate sector for over 20 years. In 2020 he was appointed as managing director of Hammerson in Dublin, with extensive retail interests, leading the operation across Dundrum Town Centre, the ILAC Centre, Swords Pavilions and other commercial spaces. Previously at Nama he helped to manage the multi-billion euro Irish and international real estate and non-performing loan (NPL) portfolio.

Ms Foley joined the Falcon AM finance team in 2016, most recently holding the position of finance controller. Mr Nulty has been a part of the asset management team at Falcon AM since 2019.

Blanchardstown Centre has over 1.1m square feet of retail and leisure space, with 188 shop units and 5,600 parking spaces on site. It is home to brands including Penneys, H&M, Zara, Hollister, Mango and Flannels, and is anchored by Dunnes Stores, Marks & Spencer, and Aldi.

“Connor’s deep industry knowledge, proven track record in strategic leadership, and his exceptional ability to drive value in complex real estate environments make him the ideal leader to deliver the next phase of Blanchardstown Centre’s growth and development," said Anders Hemmingsen, SVP managing director of commercial real estate.
