Former solicitor Colm Kincaid has been appointed by the Central Bank as its deputy governor for consumer and investor protection.

Gabriel Makhlouf, governor of the Central Bank, said: “I am delighted to announce that Colm Kincaid has been appointed to the role of deputy governor, consumer and investor protection. He brings over two decades of experience in consumer-focused financial regulation, legal expertise and strategic leadership to the role.
