Median weekly earnings for men during 2024 stood at €802.14, compared to women at €654.07.

The median weekly wage for women in 2024 was €150 less than men, despite earnings among women increasing at a faster rate, new data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) shows.

The data shows that overall, the median weekly earnings in Ireland grew by 4.5% to just under €731 during 2024, compared to just under €700 in 2023.
