Cork actor Cillian Murphy has expressed his delight that his latest film will receive its European premiere in his home city.
an adaptation of the novel by Max Porter, will screen at the Arc Cinema as part of an expanded film strand at the Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival in September.The 49-year-old Oscar winner is one of the curators of the biennial festival which this year is marking 10 years since it was first launched. Murphy, who plays
titular reform school headteacher, and English writer Porter, will be among those in attendance for the screening and post-film Q&A.
