As the residents of Los Angeles continue to rebuild their lives and homes after last month’s deadly wildfires, the small but strong Irish community there continues to support one another.
While the actual cause of the fires, which began on January 7 and continued to burn until two weeks ago, have yet be determined, a combination of strong winds, an abnormally dry winter and a lack of rain fuelled the deadly blazes.Â
