Stryker plans major expansion of Cork research facility

The team at the Innovation Centre works with Cork University Hospital (CUH) and University College Cork (UCC) on research into brain tumours to identify margins between healthy and cancerous tissue.

Medical device manufacturer Stryker has lodged plans to expand its innovation centre in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.

The centre was opened in 2015 and is used for research and development of medical instrumentation which can then be used in surgical procedures.
